Freeware: Cool little Database Program Disclib

Ever needed a small database program that can keep track of all those MP3’s you converted over from your dusty old CD and Vinyl collection?  Or do you need a database program to keep track of backed upped files?  This little database program called Disclib is great for the job.  It’s freeware and spyware/malware free.  It’s available for download on Cnet:

Disclib is a CD collection organizer program. It may be used as a catalogue of CDs. After creating the catalogue, disclib stores file and folder names and tree, allows user to categorize folders and files, and allows searching all the files from the collection CDs without need to place them in CD reader. Disclib may place in the catalogue any windows folder not only folders on CDs. Disclib has a customizable Multilanguage functionality. The program also extracts mp3 info, OGG, MP3, WAV, WMA info, RAR3x,ZIP file structure processing.

You can also query the database, and export search results or your entire catalogue into several file formats including in txt format.  It’s a useful little program I found, especially in keeping track of all that music I have from my past life as a DJ.  Disclib also works well on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
